Craft Beer Gift Pack for And Union

Since 2007 And Union have been producing modernist craft lagers & ales by working hand-in-hand with small Bavarian breweries. They are currently working with just four small, regional, family run Bavarian breweries and are extremely proud of the brews they produce for customers (and also enjoy drinking them!).

In March 2018, And Union were seeking a craft beer packaging supplier to support and manufacture beer gift packs which were to go into retail across the UK. Having a pre-existing relationship with Saxon since April 2017 they got in contact and spoke with our Internal Sales Co-ordinator Wayne.

Byron Redman, UK Operations for And Union discussed with Wayne And Union’s requirement for a high end craft beer gift pack which would contain two cans and a branded glass.

The products were sent into us here at Saxon Packaging in Lowestoft and our in-house design team created a bespoke gift pack which would snugly contain And Union’s products.

The visual design of the gift packs were created by And Unions designer Sam with inspiration taken from Bahaus, German Art School of Thought.

After receiving the artwork showing the number of colours required and detail, it was agreed the box would be lithographically printed. And Union then requested to have gloss spot UV added to accentuate the black lines of the packaging design.

8,000 gift packs were ordered and are currently stocked at Waitrose across the UK (and online) and BeerHawk online.
